Utilizing captive hardware in your assemblies means there are fewer parts to handle (hardware such as washers, lock washers, and loose nuts are no longer required in the final assembly) and less total assembly time required. Fewer parts and fewer steps means more cost savings to our customers.

As your One-Stop-Shop for sheet metal fabrication services, we perform hardware insertion operations for sheet metal parts used in a number of industries, including medical, automotive and telecommunications. Hardware insertion services are offered for the installation of a variety of components, including PEM nuts, standoffs, and studs. Modern punching and laser cutting machines at our facility pierce precision holes for easy hardware insertion.

Our hardware insertion cells are equipped with a number of insertion machines, ranging from manual insertion equipment to semi-automatic hardware insertion machines such as our PEM Series 2000 hardware insertion press with auto feed capabilities. Besides our insertion presses, we are also equipped with a riveting machine that has automatic feed features.

Malach utilizes the latest in hardware insertion automation.
